Through the discussions with researchers and practitioners, who come from a range of fields and have different areas of expertise, we hope to highlight some of the complexities of child exploitation and extra-familial harm, and to contribute to an understanding of the different perspectives that exist. For some topics, there was a high level of agreement; in others, more differences were apparent. We have tried to ensure that these differences in perspective have been clearly attributed. We are very grateful to the interviewees, all of whom were extremely generous with their time and expertise.
