Tackling Child Exploitation (TCE) Support Programme Evaluation

The Tackling Child Exploitation (TCE) Support Programme is being evaluated by the consortium and is overseen by an independently chaired steering group. We believe that evaluation is important in order to be able to assess our approach in a robust and transparent way.

Our Evaluations Aims

  • To develop a greater understanding of how effectively we are delivering the work programme, including the impact of different project types.
  • To explore the difference the TCE Support Programme is making to the strategic response local areas develop to address child exploitation and extra-familial harm concerns.
  • To use learning from the evaluation to inform the development of the programme.

Methodology

The methodology we will be using combines information gathered from the sector:

  • Surveys issued locally to Bespoke Support Projects at start, completion and six-month follow-up
  • Qualitative information gathered from the programme team and delivery partners
  • Project learning reports, annual learning reports
  • Learning generated by communities of practice, information from microsite use and thematic case studies.
